[vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]The Cl\u00e9rac\u2019s district is covered by 3200 ha of forest, representing almost 75 % of the territory.<\/p>\n

The exploitation of clay has tattooed the landscape, as for example the formation of the blue lakes. The white clay faces reflect the sky and gives to the water this characteristic colour, which depends on depth, weather and vegetation.<\/p>\n

The “Moon Walk” :<\/strong>
\nThis walk was created in 2007, around a pond. A horse shelter and room for campers, with water and electricity, was installed.<\/p>\n

The “Green Way” : <\/strong>35 km (walker, rider, roller, horse) :
\nBuilt by the \u201cCommunaut\u00e9 de communes de Haute Saintonge\u201d, this way resumes the old railway\u2019s substructures from Ch\u00e2teauneuf (16) to Saint-Mariens (33), stopped in 1989. For the moment, two sections are transformed. The first links Cl\u00e9rac to Chantillac on 15 km, and the second, inaugurated in 2006, links Chantillac to Barbezieux on 20 km called \u201cGalope Chopine\u201d. At the end, the green way joins Angoul\u00eame.
\nPerfect for a family walk with a small incline, this \u201cGreen Way\u201d is protected from the sun thanks to the vegetable cover.<\/p>\n

Lap n\u00b01 :<\/strong> \u00ab Castles tour \u00bb (9,5 km)
\nThis route takes completely place on Cl\u00e9rac\u2019s territory. The tour starts in front of the Mairie and follows the way to Cercoux.<\/p>\n

Lap n\u00b03 :<\/strong> \u00ab\u00a0Castles and valleys \u00bb (17 km)
\nThis walk links Clerac to Montguyon and takes a part of the green way between Orignolles and Clerac.<\/p>\n

Tour n\u00b08 (4km), n\u00b09 (9,5 km) et n\u00b010(13 km)<\/strong>
\nThese tours join Cl\u00e9rac to Cercoux and are located in the South of Cl\u00e9rac\u2019s district.<\/p>\n

Lap n\u00b014 A :<\/strong> \u00ab Blue lakes tour \u00bb(10 km)
\nThis route starts to Montguyon, but the biggest part of this tour is located in the North-East on the Cl\u00e9rac\u2019s district.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\"\"<\/p>\n
