Useful information

The Media Library is open to the general public. Subscription and on-site consultation are free. The Media Library offers a very large selection of books (around 5,500) including Novels, Mystery, Documentaries (Adults, Teens and Young People) without forgetting the renewal of DVDs and CDs once a year.

The user can borrow up to 8 documents maximum:
5 books for 3 weeks
1 review for 10 days
1 CD for 10 days
1 DVD for 10 days

Départmental loan media Library

Médiathèque Départementale de Prêt

La Navette (SLEM) comes by twice a month for an exchange of books (around 20 maximum), do not hesitate to let us know your requests.

The Bibliobus comes once a year for an exchange of around 400 books.

Digithèque: online cultural offer from Charente-Maritime.

Press, online audio books, sports, drawing, language classes, cartoons and youth activities, etc.: Digithèque, thousands of contents accessible 7 days a week and 24 hours a day, from home or anywhere , on all media (PC, tablet, smartphone) and free of charge (Only condition of access: be registered in one of the Charente-Maritime libraries)

Game Area

Games are available for free use within the media library. They may also be borrowed with a membership.

* Before borrowing a game, the user must check its condition and verify that the contents match the enclosed description.

* The user must report any discrepancies regarding the contents.

* The user agrees to return the game in the same condition.

* Upon return, the media library staff inspects the game to ensure all components are present.

Users are asked to report any issues or damage to the media library staff. Users are strictly prohibited from attempting any repairs themselves.

Grain library

It is a free trade area of our common heritage: seeds.

It is governed by gratuity, exchange, freedom, social ties and trust.

Everyone can take and / or deposit seeds for free. For the respect of all it is requested to deposit only the seeds resulting from cultures WITHOUT CHEMICALS AND NON HYBRIDS F1.

You can place all types of seeds (Flowers, vegetables …) there. Don’t forget to indicate the variety and the year of harvest on the bag.
